What We Do
Affirmative Counseling and Psychological Services, LLC was created with the mission of serving individuals, couples, and families by increasing a feeling of connection with themselves as well as in their relationships with others. We want to help you move toward the truest, most authentic version of yourself by engaging you in positive behaviors and identifying barriers to change. We recognize that the post COVID-19 pandemic has helped many step away from work, relationships and daily activities that no longer serve them. For others we find that what is truly important has risen to the top and you might need help renegotiating your commitments. Let us help you on this journey as you work to increasing meaning and purpose in life, whatever that may be.
We offer therapeutic treatments for individuals, families, and couples and assist with coping coping skills for stressors related to depression, anxiety, identity development, relationships, trauma and workplace distress to name a few. We offer space to feel seen and heard within context where there is no "norm" for living but rather acceptance and openness for you to be who you are and were meant to be but have yet to figure out on your own. We believe our role is to validate and support you in the growth and healing you never knew was possible. In short, we help people cope and build new skills for thriving in life.
